Dan Gardiner
One of the founders of Phoenix Commercial Advisors, Dan has more than 38 years of experience in retail brokerage. Dan started in the commercial real estate business in 1984 with CBRE. He has served as a board member and Chairman of the Board for ChainLinks Retail Advisors, the largest retail-only brokerage network in the country. Using his national retail brokerage affiliations, he has assisted his clients in developing and executing strategic plans in the Phoenix market and beyond. Dan has become a leader in the commercial real estate industry, completing thousands of transactions and speaking at numerous industry events. He represents numerous tenants including TJX Companies, Five Below, Michaels, and Nordstrom Rack. Dan’s experience also includes representing many landlords with power and neighborhood centers, plus specialty retail projects. Dan runs PCA’s day-to-day operations as well as overall strategy. He has lived in the Phoenix area since 1971, where he and his wife raised their children.
Greg Laing
Greg Laing cofounded Phoenix Commercial Advisors in May 1996. His more than 40 years of experience in commercial real estate started in 1981 at CBRE, where he worked for 11 years. Greg represents regional and national retailers, including AMC Theatres, buybuy Baby, Costco, Kohl's, Staples and Dick's Sporting Goods, and has a strong track record of successfully leasing power centers and neighborhood centers throughout the state of Arizona. Having been a resident of Phoenix since 1966, Greg brings a greater knowledge of the local and regional market than most brokers in the area to all his clients. Greg is the cultural core at PCA and leads by example. Outside of the office, Greg plays an active role as grandpa to his daughters’ children.
Zachary Pace
Zach Pace began working in real estate more than two decades ago after leaving a successful career playing professional soccer in Portugal and Arizona. In 1997, he joined the Phoenix Commercial Advisors team and in the years since has established himself as an industry leader. Zach specializes in landlord and new project development leasing, as well as tenant representation for many national retailers and restaurants. With a focus on assisting clients in executing their growth strategies, he has successfully leased numerous big box spaces, power centers and grocery-anchored centers throughout Arizona. Some of Zach’s clients include Macerich, Vestar, RED Development, Kitchell, Evergreen Development, The Pederson Group, Sunbelt Holdings, Thompson Thrift Development, Westwood Financial, Dick’s Sporting Goods, BevMo!, Red Robin, Flagship Restaurant Group, Albertsons, Safeway, Fat Cats, CAVA and Postino. Besides attending Lander University in South Carolina to study Marketing Management and his time in Portugal, Zach has called the Phoenix Metro area home for more than 45 years. When he isn’t at the office, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, golfing, fitness, and is still playing soccer.
Lance Umble
Lance Umble joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in 2000. Since then he has built a portfolio that includes vast experience in tenant representation, and leasing ground-up power center developments and existing infill redevelopments. In tenant representation, some of his clients include national retailers like Starbucks, Chipotle, Pearle Vision, Tokyo Joe’s and Bush’s Chicken; and in developer representation, he works with Westcor, Kitchell, The Pederson Group, Shea Properties, Opus West Corporation, Evergreen and more. In addition, Lance assists retailers and restaurants in executing their expansion needs throughout Metro Phoenix and the greater Tucson markets. Lance is a Phoenix native and attended Arizona State University where he received a degree in Journalism. Although the Valley has been his home for more than 48 years, during football season Lance is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was even there to cheer them on in their Super Bowl LII victory.
Teale Bloom
Teale Bloom, a Phoenix native, has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2000. She began her career with Grubb & Ellis for five years in the Newport Beach, Calif., office and joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in June 2005. Teale specializes in strategic retailer and restaurant rollouts throughout the Arizona market, as well as lifestyle and mixed-use projects, creative infill development, assemblage and redevelopment. Some of her clients include national retailers such as: Chipotle, SmashBurger, Limited Brands, La Madeleine, Sally Beauty, Oswego Grill, Hop Social Tavern and many more. Teale also has experience representing developers on ground-up and infill repositioned centers. Her developer client list has included Kitchell, Hansji Urban, Westwood Financial, Pacific Castle, Columbus Pacific, DMB Communities, Catellus, LGE Design Build and RED Development. When she isn’t busy pursuing her passion of bringing together the right mix of local and credit tenants in the everchanging urban landscape, Teale enjoys traveling for inspiration, being outside, and parenting two highly energetic boys.
Cameron Warren
Cameron Warren joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in 2005 after graduating from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He specializes in both tenant and landlord representation throughout the state of Arizona. With a strategic, hands-on marketing approach that maximizes value, Cameron has been involved in successfully leasing numerous ground-up and second-generation power and grocery-anchored centers. He is a firm believer in building and maintaining relationships through integrity and character. He brings those traits, along with hard-work and extensive market knowledge, to all his clients. Outside of the office, Cameron lives an active lifestyle with his wife and three kids.
Chad Tiedeman
Chad Tiedeman joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in January 2005. Specializing in pairing buyers and sellers with institutional grocery-anchored, multi-tenant neighborhood centers and single-tenant net-leased investments, he has spent the last 17 years building, growing and leading the investment sales team at PCA. Through his experience, valuable reputation and strong client relationships, Chad has established himself as a trusted resource and overall market leader. He has been involved in the disposition of more than one billion dollars’ worth of retail investment properties in Arizona. Many of his clients are the largest and most active retail commercial real estate owners in Arizona. Chad is a third-generation Arizona native and received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Arizona State University. Although long out of school, he spends a lot of time continuing to stay educated on the everchanging market, technology and commercial real estate tools and resources. Outside of work, Chad balances another active schedule as a dad of three.
Steven Underwood
Steven Underwood has worked in several aspects of the commercial real estate field over the past 37 years. He started his career in commercial real estate brokerage at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate where he spent his first ten years in the business focusing on tenant and landlord representation as well as investment sales of distressed properties. During the next ten years, Steven became a partner with one of the largest franchisees in the country for Wendy’s, KFC and Taco Bell, and Chili’s restaurants, and developed and acquired more than 220 restaurants. In 2009, Steven and his family moved back to Phoenix where he joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors. At PCA, he specializes in the sale of shopping centers and net-leased investments. A partial list of Steven's clients includes VEREIT, Pacific West Land, De Rito Partners, Kitchell, Vestar, Vintage Partners and WDP Partners. Steven is originally from Midland, Texas, and graduated with a degree in International Business and Economics from University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, Steve is involved in several community organizations and spends time with his wife and two sons.
John Schweikert
John Schweikert joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in March of 2014, but began his career in commercial real estate in 1999. Prior to his current position, John served as Vice President at Hannay Realty Advisors where he developed key relationships growing the company’s property and asset management portfolio to twelve million square feet of real estate in four states. Born and raised in Phoenix and a graduate of Arizona State University, John is an expert on the local market, as well as the regional real estate climate. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Real Estate, is an associate broker at PCA and has held brokerage licenses in California, Colorado and Nevada. John is the ultimate hybrid broker, specializing in both leasing of new development projects and investment sales of various retail property types. Some of his clients include Vintage Partners, Wentworth Property Company, RSS & Company, TSM Ventures, TriGate Capital, and Lawrence & Geyser Development. When he isn’t in the office or touring properties, John spends time with his wife and four daughters.
Danny Gardiner
Danny Gardiner started his career in commercial real estate at Phoenix Commercial Advisors in 2008 while completing his Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from Arizona State University. After graduation, he continued with PCA full-time. Danny was born and raised in Phoenix and brings his expertise of the area and firm understanding of the market to the investment sales team. He specializes in retail investment sales of power centers, neighborhood shopping centers, strip centers, net-lease property sales and single-tenant sale leasebacks. Now with 16 years of commercial real estate experience, Danny has been a part of $2 billion in retail transactions in the state. In doing so, he works with a wide variety of clients, including Thompson Thrift Development, Evergreen Development, Kitchell, Simon CRE, Crow Holdings, MDC Realty Advisors, Diversified Partners, Michael A. Pollack and West Valley Properties. Not only adept in client relations, Danny also provides a wealth of knowledge to the investment sales team and company as a whole through frequent research, data studies and financial and geographical market monitoring. When not in the office, Danny enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Courtney Auther Van Loo
Courtney Auther Van Loo brought more than 13 years of real estate experience to Phoenix Commercial Advisors when she joined the brokerage team in early 2017. Originally from Mission Viejo, Calif., she began her career through internships at Grubb & Ellis in Newport Beach and Jacor Partners. After receiving her degree in Business and Communications from Arizona State University, she made Phoenix her home. She worked for Grubb & Ellis in Phoenix and Cushman & Wakefield prior to her current position. Currently, with a wealth of local market knowledge, Courtney specializes in tenant representation, neighborhood center leasing, and landlord representation with a focus on mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects in the Valley’s downtowns. She represents tenant clients like La Madeleine French Bistro, Rukus Cycling Studios, and 5.11 Tactical among others. Some of her landlord clients include Invesco, Lincoln Property Company, Opus, Barker Pacific Group, Macerich and Ironline. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family as a mom of three boys, visiting the beach and being an avid sports fan.
Nick DeDona
Nick DeDona grew up in Phoenix and attended Arizona State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning. After working at Strategic Retail Group for five years, he made the move to Phoenix Commercial Advisors in February 2017. As part of the PCA leasing team, Nick specializes in landlord representation and is actively growing his tenant representation business as well. Some of his clients include: Evergreen, AP Capital REIT, PacWest, Park West, West Valley, SimonCRE, TriGate, WATT, The TerraCotta Group, and Dental Depot. Nick is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on two of its committees—the Four Corners Planning Committee and the Next Generation Event Committee. When he isn’t at the office, he enjoys attending his son’s basketball games and the occasional round of golf.
Ali Hill
Ali Hill is an Arizona native. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication Design and a minor in business. Beginning her career, she worked as a graphic designer for an Arizona-based advertising agency where she helped market brands such as Gila River Hotels & Casinos, Arizona Department of Health Services, Harkins Theatres, and many more. In 2020, she decided to move away from mainly designing and begin pursuing a career in commercial real estate joining Phoenix Commercial Advisors. She has a passion and desire to work with people and be a part of a team. She works on both tenant and landlord representation, as well as assists brokers and our marketing team. Outside of the office, Ali loves spending time with her family and friends outdoors, playing sports and fly fishing.
Christopher Schmitt
Chris Schmitt joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors is 2007. Prior to joining brokerage, he directed the GIS and Research Department, where he worked alongside brokers and their clients providing analysis, Real Estate Committee Packages, and all around support for their real estate strategies for over a decade. This background, paired with his 35-plus years of living in the Valley, have provided him a strong skill set he has utilized when working with the likes of Costco, Starbucks, and Chick-fil-A. Chris now specializes in tenant and landlord representation along with sourcing new ground-up development opportunities where he continues to leverage his GIS background to better serve his clients’ needs. Outside the office Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children cooking, traveling, and cheering on his favorite local sports team.
Phil Dagostini
Phil Dagostini joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors (PCA) as an intern in 2006. While still attending Arizona State University to complete his degree, he was hired full time as the Director of Research in 2007. Spending 12 years in this research role allowed him to gain the plethora of market knowledge and insight that he continues to possess and expand upon to this day. In 2019, Phil obtained his real estate license and transitioned into an Associate role at PCA. Currently, he specializes in tenant representation with big box tenants in the retail and entertainment sectors of real estate. Not limited to just experience in Arizona, Phil also works as a member of the master broker teams on multiple accounts at PCA including Kohl’s, The Tile Shop, Pinstack, Flying Squirrel Sports, and Sterling Organization, where he manages teams for clients in 25+ markets throughout the country.
Dillon Young
Dillon Young graduated from The University of Arizona in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a minor in Business Management. Born and raised in the Phoenix area, Dillon returned there after college and joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors in 2022. Prior to PCA, he worked in residential and small commercial real estate, where he worked alongside investors to identify opportunities for his clients to grow their portfolios. That experience, along with his highly analytical, research-heavy background and first-hand knowledge of the Phoenix market are assets he brings to any client relationship. In his current role, Dillon is assisting partner brokers on land transactions and tenant and landlord representation while working on building his own client portfolio. When he isn’t at the office, Dillon is an avid soccer fan and enjoys staying active through mountain biking, hiking, and golfing.
Jackson Dragon
Jackson Dragon was born and raised locally in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, where he graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Development. Shortly after, he joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors. Before joining the PCA team, Jackson worked at Evergreen Devco, Inc., where he assisted in various commercial real estate retail development projects across multiple states. When he isn't working, Jackson spiritedly cheers on the Miami Dolphins and enjoys going to the gym, hiking, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
John Warren
John Warren graduated from The University of Tulsa in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, complemented by a minor in Marketing. During his collegiate years, John was not only a dedicated student but also an athlete, earning a full athletic scholarship with the university’s football team. Prior to joining Phoenix Commercial Advisors, he worked as the General Manager for Blue Sky Airport Parking for 12 years and ran all day-to-day operations all while growing the brands market share in a competitive Phoenix market. His extensive experience in management, customer service, and strategic growth has prepared him well for his current role in commercial real estate. Outside of work, John spends time with his wife and three children camping and running around town to youth sporting events.
Isaiah Clayton
Isaiah Clayton was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and went on to attend college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Eller College of Management. Upon graduating, he joined Phoenix Commercial Advisors as part of the Investment Sales Team, with over 100 years of combined experience, where he advises both developers and investors on the acquisition and disposition of retail properties. Prior to joining the PCA team, Isaiah worked at Land Advisors, where he assisted in site selection in the Phoenix market. When he isn’t working, Isaiah spends his time on the Jiu Jitsu mats, playing guitar, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
